During the lockdown, Oakfield Playgroup ran weekly online virtual classes to keep children engaged and learning!

We are taking measures to ensure safety of children, teachers and parents in our reopening, but are making sure our education is still interactive and engaging for children!

Hello, my name is Deepika, I am the manager here at Oakfield!

At Oakfield Playgroup, we provide a safe, stimulating environment for preschool kids to learn and have fun!

We pride ourselves in our community, and make sure that parents are included fully in their children's education. Parents are encouraged to participate in events, and are in direct contact with me or any of the staff.

We celebrate all cultural and religious festivals throughout the year by introducing them through stories, parties, songs, dance and art.

We focus on 7 areas of learning:

-Communication and language

-Physical Development

-Personal, Social and emotional development

-Literacy

-Mathematics

-Understanding of world

-Expressive art and design

We can also speak many languages to aid learning of English; Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil and Marathi. All children feel included here!

Everyone is welcome at Oakfield, regardless of background or ability, and we make sure they become the best version of themselves!
